The Nine Tailors

Condition: Acceptable

Significant creasing to front cover, light creasing to spine, and extensive notes on the inside back cover from previous owner.

"When his sexton finds a corpse in the wrong grave, the rector of Fenchurch St Paul asks Lord Peter Wimsey to find out who the dead man was and how he came to be there.

The lore of bell-ringing and a brilliantly-evoked village in the remote fens of East Anglia are the unforgettable background to a story of an old unsolved crime and its violent unravelling twenty years later".

This 1982 New English Library of Dorothy L. Sayers' cryptic mystery is in acceptable condition. There's signifiant creasing to the cover, light creasing to the spine, and an inscription on the front cover. Most noticeably, though, there are extensive notes on the inside of the back cover - a former owner tracking their efforts at solving the mystery - which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective.
