Cold Case Books is operated by Kurt Wood, a sole trader. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• When you place an order — your name, email address, billing address, and payment details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your name and email address so we can fulfil your order. We never see or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe.
• When you browse the site — we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous data about how visitors use the site, including pages visited and time spent. This data does not identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions.

How we use your information

• To process and fulfil your order
• To contact you about your order if needed
• To improve the site using anonymised analytics data

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or send unsolicited emails.

Third-party services

• Netlify — hosts this website and may log basic server access data (IP addresses, request times) for security purposes.
